[PR Announcement] The updated information of the COVID-19 situation in VISTEC

Dear All

 

According to the COVID-19 tested by Center for Disease Control (CDC)  on 7 April 2021, it is confirmed that all tested received the negative results. 

Most importantly, please kindly be advised that even with the negative results those tested are still required to strictly follow the 14-day self-quarantine rule (from the date of being at the specified risky areas).

This is very important to keep our loved ones safe from COVID-19 and to show our social responsibility.

While it seems that VISTEC community is now safe from the recent critical situation, The COVID-19 War Room Team still advises everyone to keep practicing the Social Distancing/Personal Hygiene/Mask Wearing concept at all time,

as the situation in Thailand is still under high alert and risky.

VISTEC community has learned a great deal from this critical situation in the past few days, and we will grow stronger together.

แนวทางปฏิบัติเพื่อป้องกันการแพร่ระบาดของโรคติดเชื้อไวรัสโคโรนา 2019
ในช่วงเทศกาลสงกรานต์

1. การเข้า – ออกพื้นที่สถาบันวิทยสิริเมธี โดยมีรายละเอียดดังนี้

1.1   สำหรับคนที่ออกนอกพื้นที่ : หากท่านใดต้องการออกนอกพื้นที่ สามารถทำได้ โดยดังนี้

ก). ผู้ที่ได้รับการตรวจ SWAB วันที่ 7 เม.ย. และได้รับผลการตรวจแล้ว ให้ปฏิบัติดังนี้

    - สำหรับผู้ที่จะประสงค์อยู่ในสถาบันโดยต้องทำการกักตัวเองจนถึงวันที่ 16 เม.ย. 2564
(เพื่อให้เป็นไปตามแนวทางของ พรบ. ควบคุมการระบาดของโรคติดต่อ) พร้อมทั้งขอให้ปฏิบัติตามหลักระยะห่างทางสังคม และสวมหน้ากากอนามัยอย่างเคร่งครัด

    - สำหรับผู้ที่จะประสงค์เดินทางออกนอกพื้นที่ โดยแบ่งได้ดังนี้

      เดินทางโดยรถสถาบัน

              - ผู้ที่ได้รับการตรวจ SWAB ของวันที่ 7 เม.ย. 2564 สามารถเดินทางกลับได้ในวันที่ 11 เม.ย. 2564 โดยก่อนขึ้นรถสถาบันขอให้ดำเนินการแสดงผลตรวจดังกล่าวก่อนขึ้นรถ รวมทั้งตรวจวัดอุณหภูมิก่อนขึ้นรถ และต้องสวมหน้ากากอนามัยตลอดการเดินทาง ทั้งนี้ ขอให้หลีกเลี่ยงการเดินทางโดยรถประจำทางสาธารณะและเมื่อเดินทางกลับถึงภูมิลำเนาขอให้ดำเนินการกักตัวเองอยู่ที่บ้านจนถึงวันที่ 16 เม.ย. 2564 พร้อมทั้งปฏิบัติตามหลักระยะห่างทางสังคม และการสวมหน้ากากอนามัยอย่างเคร่งครัด รวมทั้งต้องจัดทำ timeline อย่างสม่ำเสมอ

      เดินทางโดยรถส่วนตัว

              - ผู้ที่ได้รับการตรวจ SWAB ของวันที่ 7 เม.ย. 2564 สามารถเดินทางกลับได้ในวันที่ 11 เม.ย. 2564 และเมื่อเดินทางกลับถึงภูมิลำเนาขอให้ดำเนินการกักตัวเองอยู่ที่บ้านจนถึงวันที่ 16 เม.ย. 2564 พร้อมทั้งปฏิบัติตามหลักระยะห่างทางสังคม และการสวมหน้ากากอนามัยอย่างเคร่งครัด รวมทั้งต้องจัดทำ timeline อย่างสม่ำเสมอ

         ข). ผู้ที่มี่ความเสี่ยงต่ำที่ไม่ได้ผ่านการตรวจ SWAB ของวันที่ 7 เม.ย. 2564  ให้ปฏิบัติดังนี้

              เดินทางโดยรถสถาบัน

              - สามารถเดินทางกลับได้ในวันที่ 9 เม.ย. โดยต้องตรวจวัดอุณหภูมิก่อนขึ้นรถ และต้อง
สวมหน้ากากอนามัยตลอดการเดินทาง ทั้งนี้ ขอให้หลีกเลี่ยงการเดินทางโดยรถประจำทางสาธารณะและ
เมื่อเดินทางกลับถึงภูมิลำเนาขอให้ปฏิบัติตามหลักระยะห่างทางสังคม และการสวมหน้ากากอนามัย
อย่างเคร่งครัด รวมทั้งต้องจัดทำ timeline อย่างสม่ำเสมอ

               เดินทางโดยรถส่วนตัว

              - สามารถเดินทางได้ตามกำหนดการของตนเอง แต่เมื่อเดินทางกลับถึงภูมิลำเนาขอให้ปฏิบัติ
ตามหลักระยะห่างทางสังคม และการสวมหน้ากากอนามัยอย่างเคร่งครัด รวมทั้งต้องจัดทำ timeline อย่างสม่ำเสมอ

 

   1.2 สำหรับบุคคลที่จะเดินทางกลับเข้ามาในพื้นที่สถาบัน: ต้องจัดส่งไทม์ไลน์ให้กับผู้บังคับบัญชาก่อน
วันที่จะเดินทางกลับอย่างน้อย 2 วัน โดยผู้บังคับบัญชาและคณะทำงานวอร์รูมของสถาบันฯ จะร่วมกันพิจารณาว่าท่านต้องได้รับการตรวจหาเชื้อก่อนการเดินทางกลับเข้ามาสถาบันหรือไม่ โดยขึ้นอยู่กับต้นทางของพื้นที่ซึ่งเดินทาง หากเป็นพื้นที่เสี่ยงตามประกาศของ ศบค. ต้องพิจารณากักตัวเอง 14 วันหลังจากที่กลับเข้ามาในพื้นที่ของสถาบัน

หมายเหตุ ให้หลีกเลี่ยงการเดินทางโดยรถสาธารณะ

คำถามที่ 1 สำหรับรถที่ออกวันอาทิตย์ คนที่อยากทราบผลตรวจของอาจารย์ก่อน เพราะมีการใกล้ชิดกันมาหลายวัน จึงมีความกังวลกลัวเอาไปติดที่บ้านซึ่งสามารถที่จะจองรถที่ออกวันอาทิตย์ได้ไหม

คำตอบ สามารถเดินทางกลับพร้อมกับรถที่จะออกวันอาทิตย์ได้

 

คำถามที่ 2 การกลับเข้ามาวิสเทคหลังสงกรานต์ เข้าใจว่ามาตรการจะเป็นไปคล้ายๆ ปีใหม่ โดยจะใช้เว็บไหนในการดูว่าจังหวัดตัวเองพื้นที่สีอะไร และถ้ากลับจากสีแดงต้องทํายังไง

คำตอบ สามารถเข้าไปดู เฟสบุ๊ค ศูนย์ข้อมูล COVID-19 และถ้ากลับมาจากพื้นที่สีแดงต้องทำการกักตนเองเป็นระยะเวลา 14 วัน ก่อนจะเข้าทำงานที่สถาบันฯ รวมทั้งถ้าไปในพื้นที่ที่มีความเสี่ยงสูง ขอให้ดำเนินการตรวจเชื้อโควิด แล้วส่งผลให้กับผู้บังคับบัญชา และคณะทำงานวอรร์รูม เพื่อพิจารณาก่อนการเดินทาง

 

คำถามที่ 3 ในกรณีที่ตัดสินใจไม่กลับบ้าน วิสเทคจะมีความช่วยเหลือด้านอาหารอย่างไร

คำตอบ เนื่องด้วยในช่วงเทศกาลสงกรานต์ ทางร้านอาหารครัวคุณนกปิดทำการ แต่จะมีรถกอล์ฟทำการไปส่งร้าน Jiffy ตามตารางเวลาของรถกอล์ฟที่อยู่ในแนวทางปฏิบัติเพื่อป้องกันการแพร่ระบาดของโรคติดเชื้อไวรัสโคโรนา-2019 ในช่วงวันหยุดเทศกาลสงกรานต์

 

คำถามที่ 4 สําหรับคนที่ไม่สะดวกกักตัว 14 วันหลังจากกลับมาที่สถาบัน สามารถทํา rapid test ได้มั้ย แล้วจะต้องไปทําที่ไหนและค่าใช้จ่ายเท่าไหร่

คำตอบ สำหรับคนที่ไปพื้นที่เสี่ยงสูงแล้วไม่ประสงค์จะทำการกักตนเอง 14 วัน ต้องเข้ารับการตรวจเชื้อโควิด-2019 โดยขอให้ทำการตรวจหาเชื้อจากสถานที่บริการพื้นที่ภูมิลำเนาโดยจะต้องทำการตรวจก่อนเข้าพื้นที่ ส่วนค่าใช้จ่ายถ้าเป็นการไปตรวจแบบ drive thru ตามโรงพยาบาลส่วนใหญ่จะอยู่ที่ประมาณ 3,000 บาท

Urgent Attention: Requested to Follow the Procedures Against COVID-19 From VISTEC War Room Team

Dear Students,

 

As your visit of the high-risk area in Thong Lor in the past couple of weeks (according to the announcement of Department of Health (Bangkok) as enclosed), on behalf of VISTEC War Room Team against COVID-19, I would like to ask for kind cooperation to follow these procedures:

 

1. Contact Hot Line of Department of Health (Bangkok) or scan the QR code immediately (as detailed in the attachment).

2. Inform your timeline to VISTEC War Room Team (since your visit to those places).

3. Get the COVID-19 test as soon as possible and please inform us of the test result, so that proper actions can be proceeded within VISTEC community.

4. Quarantine yourself at least 14 days. If you have to stay at home, please wear a facial mask all of the times, wash your hands often, and social distancing from your family members.

5. Check your health condition and if you have these symptoms: fever, dry cough, tiredness, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, difficulty breathing or shortness of breath, etc., please seek immediate medical attention. Always call before visiting your doctor or health facility.

 

We concern your safety and please you should be aware of people who you love and care to get infected by the disease.

COVID-19 situation

On behalf of the COVID-19 war room team, we would like to take this opportunity to inform of you regarding the situation of COVID-19 as you may have heard.

If you recall that on Monday, March 29 we had visitors his Excellency from Japan and his colleagues. They were welcomed by our top management and they visited several places on our campus.

Unfortunately, yesterday morning we received the news regarding his Excellency being tested positive of COVID-19.

 

The COVID-19 war room team will organize an official meeting on Monday morning to assess the situation and possibly issue certain protocols and measures. We totally understand your concern and please kindly be certain that we are working very hard to monitor the situation.

 

At this moment, we are collecting the names of the people and separate them into 3 main categories, based on their contact with the infected visitors on Monday March 29, 2021,

 

Tier 1: All people in the visitors’ welcome team on Monday Tier 1.1: High Risk: 3 people (all tested Negative for COVID-19) Tier 1.2: Medium Risk (10 people) Tier 1.3: Low Risk (15 people)

Tier 2: People with close contact with Tier 1

Tier 3: People with close contact with Tier 2

Please note that most of people in VISTEC are classified in Tier 3.

 

Most importantly, please kindly stay calm, as you can see the risk of being infected is very low for this case.

Nonetheless, in the next 7 days please reduce the activities with large group of people and strictly follow Social Distancing/Personal Hygiene/Mask on Concept.

 

Today, we have done the cleaning some of the areas visited by his Excellency by using the Ozone Cleaning system. There is no need for you to take any actions yet.

However, you can follow the same concept of social distancing and personal hygiene we have been using for the past one year. Please also wear mask at all time and wash your hands often.

 

Recently, suitable measures and protocols for each group are being drafted and will announced shortly.

COVID testing for high-risk persons

As COVID-19 cases were detected within the Wang Chan Valley area, in order to prevent the further spread of COVID-19 disease in the campus, VISTEC have contacted the Department of Disease Control to conduct a COVID-19 test, using a swab test method, with the schedule as follows;
1. Wednesday, April 7, 2021
    1.1 Time: 9.00 - 12.00 and 13.00 - 14.00
    1.2 Location: Clubhouse 
    1.3 Persons to be examined: 100 high-risk persons (The persons who joined the welcoming of the Japanese Ambassadors and the persons participated in the retirement party honoring the vice president for administration at Ban Rai Nai Pol restaurant).
The persons identified as high-risk persons are requested to avoid traveling back home and to quarantine themselves for 14 days from the date of being close to the persons infected with COVID-19.
2. Thursday, April 8, 2021 (still pending confirmation from the Department of Disease Control)
    2.1 Time: 9.00 - 16.00
    2.2 Location: Clubhouse 
   2.3 Persons to be tested: 150 persons who have requested to undergo the COVID-19 test (The eligibility of the person wishing to undergo the COVID-19 test will be determined from those group classified as high-risk. Therefore, the Department of Disease Control may reject the examination if you are not classified as high-risk person).
Importantly, the persons undergone the test are requested to wait for the test results before traveling away from VISTEC campus during the Songkran holidays.
Note: Please prepare a copy of your ID card, the result will be known within 24 - 48 hours and strictly wear a face mask at all times.

ทั้งนี้ ขอให้กลุ่มผู้ที่มีความเสี่ยงสูงหลีกเลี่ยงในการเดินทางกลับบ้านพร้อมทั้งทำการกักตัวเอง เป็นเวลา 14 วัน นับจากวันที่ได้ใกล้ชิดกับผู้ที่ได้รับการยืนยันว่าติดเชื้อโควิด 19  
2. วันพฤหัสบดีที่ 8 เมษายน 2564 (ยังอยู่ในช่วงรอการยืนยันจากกรมควบคุมโรค) 
    2.1 เวลา: 9.00 – 16.00 น.  
    2.2 สถานที่: บริเวณอาคารคลับเฮ้าส์ 
    2.3 ผู้ที่ได้รับการตรวจ: ผู้ที่ต้องการรับการตรวจเชื้อโควิด 19 จำนวน 150 คน (ผู้ที่จะเข้ารับการตรวจขอให้พิจารณาจากผู้ที่เข้าข่ายเป็นผู้มีความเสี่ยง ทั้งนี้ กรมควบคุมโรคอาจจะปฏิเสธการตรวจหากพิจารณาเห็นแล้วว่าท่านเป็นผู้ที่ไม่เข้าข่ายความเสี่ยง)  
ทั้งนี้ ขอให้กลุ่มนี้ต้องรอทราบผลการตรวจเชื้อก่อนการเดินทางออกนอกพื้นที่สถาบันในช่วงเทศกาลสงกรานต์
